Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, now living in Southern California as a product designer and developer. I grew up as the puffy paint master creating original designs for my running teammates, and spent the weekends wandering the aisles of art supply stores for my next project. I now work on protective base layers and sports equipment along with running packs and accessories. I am 'Queen of the Junk' as most my work revolves around designing for men in the active/sporting world and someone has to product test to make sure they work! 

 

Moving around to different universities including a year abroad I started to build confidence in my work once I found my niche set of skills in soft goods design focusing on active and outdoor products. My passion for design is rooted in sustainability and designing for a circular economy that avoids planned obsolescence. I want to help innovate and create designs for longevity and reduce the footprint our industry has on the Earth. 

 

Travel is the backbone of my life and by documenting my journeys I hope to spark a fire in those around me to get outside and reconnect with nature. with a camera always in hand from a young age and a wild heart to push the limits what could go wrong! I am an explorer by nature and take every chance to wander I get. Photography is my outlet to share with others my experiences through story and picture, and are what I hope will inspire others to continue to strive for more and not settle for anything ordinary. 

 

My career is driven by rules whereas my spirit for life tends to break any boundary it can to be free. With a desire to follow my passions I continue to challenge what is expected and deemed the norm. This is where the inspiration to create a space to share with other adventure seekers was born.
